The project US(SR)A is a contemplation on the life differences between two superpowers, which showcases the period from the 1970s to the 1990s. After defeat of the Nazi regime, two global players started to compete for influence. The competition affected all areas of life: from military coalitions and propaganda, to sport events, and the space race.
Societies were divided and saw each other as a threat. While US citizens feared nuclear war, people in the Soviet Union lived under the censorship. Despite the fall of the Soviet Union, the tension between East and West never ended, and even today we observe the continuing confrontation. The project is focused on the daily life of ordinary people who happened to be on opposite sides and went through their struggles in their own way.
